Thank You w/Stamp Simply

Spring is here, and Stamp Simply Clear Stamps has all the perfect supplies including stamps, dies, pattern papers, laces and more to help you create beautiful cards for this Season, and all year long.  The perfect sentiment, scripture, saying, quote, word, etc. awaits you in the hundreds of beautiful stamps you'll find at Stamp Simply.  Today I combined a total of five different stamp sets available at Stamp Simply.

I used cream cardstock for the base of my card.  I layered that with two patterned papers.  One is from Echo Park's Stars & Stripes Forever 6x6 Paper Pad and the other is from Carta Bella's Winter Time 6x6 Paper Pad.  I ran a width of beautiful Ivory Lace across the middle of my card where the two patterned papers meet.  That created the base of my card.

Next, I used Royal Blue Ink to stamp several words that are found in the Vintage Peony Stamp Set, Vintage Christmas Background Stamp Set, Vintage Christmas Images Stamp Set and Seed Packet Background Stamp Set to create the tag I used on my next layer; as well as my sentiment strip.  At the top of the tag, I added some Baker's Twine.  The gorgeous Spring Pansies Floral Cluster was stamped, colored and cut using the coordinating Floral Cluster Dies.  I also cut some banners using the Fishtail Banner Dies that I placed under the Floral Cluster.

Seed Packet New Release at Stamp Simply

What a FUN New Release we're having at Stamp Simply.  This gorgeous new Vintage Seed Packet Stamp Set has been so much fun to use.  There are just SO many great things you can do with this set, and the ideas keep flowing through my mind.  You will LOVE this sweet new set.  I decided not to make a card this time; but rather, to make an actual seed packet pouch for some (real) seed packets.

As you can see, I didn't use any paper on this project.  I stamped the Vintage Seed Packet image onto a piece of canvas material, cut around the edge, and did some bright pink machine stitching.  Next, I used the new Vintage Peony Stamp Set to stamp the gorgeous flower and bumble bee onto canvas material.  I used the Peony Dies to cut the canvas flower and bumble bee.  Yes, these AWESOME dies cut through materials including thick canvas.

Next, I hand stitched a small pouch using burlap material and some green DMC floss.  I tucked three (real) seed packages into this handmade pouch.  Some Pink Seam Binding was the perfect accent.  I really just wanted to show you all a different way to use these sweet stamps.  It's fun to stamp on different mediums (other than paper) once in a while.
