Spread JOY, Not Germs Blog Hop

Welcome by today, everyone!  I hope you're enjoying the Spread JOY Not Germs Blog Hop organized by Catherine Pooler Designs and Hedgehog Hollow Stamps.  Can you believe there are (at least) 31 sponsors in this amazing Blog Hop?  It's true.  And, you'll find LOTS of great inspiration, new products, and FUN along the way.  I'm sharing a (JOYful) project today on behalf of Paper Sweeties, which is one of the amazing sponsors for this very special Blog Hop.  This is a bit of a "side track" to the regular Blog Hop list, but we'll get you right back on track.  No worries.  We all thank you for visiting the blogs of the Paper Sweeties Design Team Members (listed below), and we wish you the best of luck in the random draw.
I started with a basic brown paper lunch bag that I folded, covered with inked patterned papers, and adorned with some adorable products from Paper Sweeties.  Once I'd attached my papers and machine stitched my bag together (creating a big pocket), I ran a length of Oatmeal Seam Binding across my card.  I used another piece of the Oatmeal Seam Binding and a length of Mint Seam Binding to tie a pretty bow.
I stamped Emma and colored her with my Copics (skin, hair, etc.) and then I used the Emma Sweet Cut to cut out the shape of her body.  Her darling little dress and shoes were stamped using the Jelly Bean Time Stamp Set.  Next, I used the Merry Stamp Set to stamp the word JOY twice (since, after all, this is a "Spread JOY" Blog Hop).  The other little sentiment (Spring Joy!) is from the Jelly Bean Time Stamp Set.
The "pocket" I created in my paper bag is stuffed with sweet little quotes of encouragement, Bible verses, a gift card and such.  You can use any type of paper bag you have to create a pocket like this one.  And Paper Sweeties has all the perfect stamps, dies, trims and embellishments to help you create something lovely.
You'll have until April 24 to complete the Spread Joy, Not Germs Blog Hop.  This includes any "side hops" like this one that some of the sponsors are offering.  If you get lost, just pop back over to Catherine Pooler Designs or Hedgehog Hollow StampsThere you'll find the master hop list and the complete list of prizes.

OK, as promised, here's the link to your next stop on the regular Blog Hop (once you've visited my lovely teammates), you'll return to the blog of Jess Francisco.  But first, please visit my Paper Sweeties teammates' blogs listed above so that you'll be eligible for the FAB prize from Paper Sweeties.  And, have LOTS of fun as you spread JOY, not germs.

Blessings,
Karen
