Welcome to the March Blog Hop with Really Reasonable Ribbon. You should have arrived here by way of Bonnie's Blog; but if not, don't worry. This is a short hop and you can get caught up quickly. One lucky person who hops along with us and leaves a comment on each blog, and then follows up on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog will be randomly chosen to win this month's gorgeous Ribbon Club Assortment. Just look at this gorgeous assortment of ribbons.
This month's Ribbon Club Assortment includes approximately 2 yards of each trim you see in the photo above. It includes the 5/8" Hot Pink Delicate Stitch Satin Ribbon, 3/8" Butterfly Multicolor Pink/Green Yellow Grosgrain, 5/8" Pearl Pink Checkerboard Satin, 3/8" Spring Pastel Leaf Print on White Satin, 5/8" Lemon Diamond Satin Ribbon, 3/8" Mixed Pastels Vertical Stripes Grosgrain, 5/8" Apple Organza With Satin Center Ribbon, 3/8" Multi-Pastel Ladybug Grosgrain, and the 5/8" Light Orchid Taffeta. I know, I know.....no Hair Bow this month?
From the Ribbon Club Assortment, my card uses a piece of the 5/8" Hot Pink Delicate Stitch Satin Ribbon, as well as a piece of White Crochet Lace. I added some vintage white buttons and I tied their centers with various colors of Solid Baker's Twine including one with a piece of Solid Red, one with Solid Light Pink, another with the Solid Medium Blue, and one with the Solid Lemonwood Yellow Baker's Twine.
I love ALL Baker's Twine; especially the Solids. And at just 10 cents per yard, you can't go wrong. Alongside the bow tied with a piece of the 5/8" Hot Pink Delicate Stitch Satin Ribbon, there's a piece of Solid Mint Baker's Twine and Yellow Baker's Twine, and some Deep Lake Blue and Pink Miniature Double Head Stamens all tucked under a piece of floral chipboard. The patterned papers and chipboard are from Echo Park, and the sentiment is from Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.
You'll also see that I also made a cute little Candy Treat Tube that I filled with yummy Jelly Bellys. I topped the Treat Tubes with a sweet little tags. I used a Paper Sweeties tag die and stamped sentiment (with love). I treated the tags with pieces of ribbon from the Ribbon Club Assortment including a piece of the 5/8" Pearl Pink Checkerboard Satin, the 5/8" Apple Organza With Satin Center Ribbon, the 3/8" Multi-Pastel Ladybug Grosgrain, and the 5/8" Light Orchid Taffeta.
In addition to those trims, I also attached some Ivory Burlap String, Natural Burlap String, a Green Mulberry Leaf, and a Pink Cottage Rose. I love using layers of twines, leaves, stamens and flowers on little tags. They're attached to the Candy Tubes with lengths of the Natural Burlap String that I looped through the top of the tags. Really Reasonable Ribbon has SO many great products to help you create something wonderful.
