The Sky Is The Limit w/Stamp Simply

Welcome by again, everyone.  I'm so glad you've stopped by for a visit today as I share a fun graduation card that I created using some of the fabulous stamps and dies from Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.  Like I always say, Stamp Simply has the perfect stamps, sentiments, images and dies for every occasion.  Graduation, like every other occasion, is a special milestone in the lives of our loved ones.  It's always nice to be able to send a handmade card and Stamp Simply makes it easy.
I started with basic black cardstock and layered that with a blue woodgrain patterned paper from the Craft Consortium's Wood Textures 6x6 Paper Pad.  Next, I used a piece of white watercolor paper and I rubbed on various colors of Tim Holtz Oxides Inks.  Once I rubbed on the oxide inks, I gave the paper a light spray of water.
I used the Graduation Sentiments Stamp Set to stamp all three of the sentiments onto the background.  I used a small scrap of the watercoclor paper to rub on more of the oxides inks and I used that scrap to cut the stars by using the Patriotic Stars & Stripes/Old Glory Die Cuts.  I also cut a few from the black cardstock.  I thought the sentiment (The Sky is the Limit) went well with the stars.  The finishing touch was a knotted bow tied with Black/White Baker's Twine.
There's always lots of great inspiration on the Stamp Simply Blog and there's always a perfect stamp, die and embellishment for every project at the Stamp Simply Store.  Thanks so much for visiting me today, and please be sure to stop by Stamp Simply any time you need a wonderful new stamp set...or anything crafty.  They really have it all.
