Proud to Be an American w/RRR

This is a FUN card I'm sharing today for Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I used a cool sentiment from Bonnie Garby Designs and some awesome trims and goodies from Really Reasonable Ribbon to create this quick and fun patriotic card.  I always love what a ribbon treatment does for a card, and we can always count on RRR to have the perfect ribbons, trims and embellishments for every card or project.
This card uses black cardstock layered with white cardstock layered with a cute patterned paper.  I die-cut a small doily from red cardstock and I cut the Bonnie Garby Sentiment square from white cardstock.  I layered everything together and then ran a length of Black & White Bold Gingham Ribbon across my card and used it to tie a pretty bow.  I tucked in lengths of Iridescent White String and some Double Head Stamens.  I also added some stick pins for fun.
The awesome patriotic sentiment can be found in the 4th of July Patriotic Stamp Bundle at Bonnie Garby Designs along with hundreds of other sentiments for every occasion.  I just LOVE Bonnie's designs, fonts, and her great wording choices.  You can find so many great sentiments to help (affordably) increase your sentiment stamps options.  The Gingham Ribbon I used on my card comes in SO many great colors and widths.  I also used lots of Scor-Tape to secure everything in place permanently.
What are YOU creating this week?  Be sure to stop by the Really Reasonable Ribbon store as well as at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog for lots of great inspiration.  It's always a treat to have you stop by my blog to leave me some love.  I appreciate you very much and I hope you're having a great week, everyone.

I'm sharing my card here:

As You Like It Challenge - Favourite: Layout or Sketch - As I mentioned in my first entry (this is 2/3), I tend to use this same basic layout/sketch design all the time.  The reason why it's my favorite, and a "go-to" design is because it's so basic and versatile.  By using a card base, layering papers and using some sort of frame die to create my layout every time, I can count on this basic sketch design over and over again.

Blessings,
Karen
