Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus

♯♪Do you remember the beautiful hymn.....Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus, Look Full in His Wonderful Grace, and the things of life will grow strangely dim...in the light of His glory and grace.  These beautiful lyrics are captured in a lovely stamp set from Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.  I used this wonderful stamp set, and only this one stamp set, to create this simple card.  I'm using it as a Sympathy card, and I stamped the inside with another Sympathy Sentiment from Stamp Simply (inside not shown).
I used a piece of Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock, and I rubbed it with various colors of Tim Holtz Oxide Inks.  I splattered the wet ink with water and paint, then I let it dry.  I used the wonderful and beautiful Worship & Praise Stamp Set for the little notes, treble cleft symbol, and musical swirl images as well as for the lovely sentiments.  I used Graphite Black Ink to stamp everything.  Yes, just one stamp set.  The Worship & Praise Stamp Set is SO beautiful, and it can be used for a variety of occasions.
The card base is basic black and basic white cardstock.  The Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock is a thicker cardstock, and it absorbs the Oxide Inks so nicely.  These wonderful panels are pre-cut for the perfect sized card.  Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this Distress Cardstock is amazing, and it will help you create amazing backgrounds.  This card is SO simple that anyone can create it.  All the stamps from Stamp Simply are awesome and will help you easily create lovely cards.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends.  It's always so nice to have you visit and say hello.  You can find lots of great inspiration each day on the Stamp Simply Blog, and that's where you'll find out about special sales and promotions, etc.  Have a wonderfully creative week, everyone.

I'm sharing my card here:

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Simon Says "Inspired by Music" - This card was inspired by the song/old hymn "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus" and also uses sweet musical images.

Blessings,
Karen
