Merry Merry Merry Christmas w/Whimsy Stamps

Sometimes saying it just one time isn't enough.  All of us at Whimsy Stamps want to wish you a Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas.  I'll definitely miss designing for Whimsy Stamps and using their wonderful products.  This sweet little card combines three different products that came together nicely on this easy-to-make Christmas card.
I used white cardstock that I rubbed with Spun Sugar, Citron and Raspberry Oxide Inks.  Once I had my inks rubbed onto the white cardstock, I cut the word MERRY three times using the Merry Large Word Die.  The word Christmas was stamped three times using the Dash Away Stamp Set.  I love this stamp set and I've found myself using it quite a bit.  It contains darling images and sentiments.  SO cute!
The frame pieces (scalloped edge outer and rectangle inner) were cut using the fabulously versatile Mix & Match Scalloped Rectangle Frame Dies.  I, again, inked the scalloped part of the frame using Spun Sugar Oxide Ink.  SO pretty!  I did just a bit of white accenting using a white pen.  That's about it.  Very simple, but a quick and easy Christmas card that anyone can make.
I hope you'll stop by Whimsy Stamps to look around and then stop by my Instagram Page to Follow me there.  I'd really appreciate it, friends.  Thanks so much for visiting me today.  I appreciate each and every one of your visits and comments.  Hopefully, you're creating pretty things and sharing them in some fun challenges.  I hope to see you out there in Blogland and on social media.

Blessings,
Karen

Thank You w/Whimsy Stamps

I know that I say this a lot, but I'm really LOVING being on the Whimsy Stamps InstaPinners Design Team.  The stamps and dies they carry are AMAZING, FUN and they allow you to create wonderful and interesting cards.  The card I'm sharing today was not my own original idea.  This card was totally inspired by a sweet card made by the talented Larissa Heskett for Trinity Stamps.  I just used very similar stamps and dies from Whimsy Stamps when creating my version of her inspiring and beautiful card.
I used white cardstock and a patterned paper from JilliBean Soup.  I cut the frame using the sweet frame using the Mix & Match Scallop Rectangle Frame Dies.  I stamped the jar twice using the Atlas Mason Jar Clear Stamps and I cut out the jars and the jar center with the coordinating Atlas Mason Jar Dies to create a shaker.  How cute, right?
Inside the jar, I used Confetti Mixes to complete the shaker element.  Whimsy Stamps has SO many awesome Confetti Mixes.  The ones I used are the Glazed Confetti and Princess Pearls.  You can find the perfect colors of Confetti Mixes for every project.  I used the Fadoodles Blooms Clear Stamps for the flowers, and I hand cut the leaves.  Finally, the sentiment I stamped is also from the Atlas Mason Jar Clear Stamps and the tag I used is from the Atlas Mason Jar Dies.  It's tied on with a piece of Natural Burlap String.
Thanks SO much for stopping by my blog again today.  I'm still looking for FOLLOWERS here on my blog as well as on my Instagram Page.  You can find lots of great inspiration on Whimsy Stamps social media and lots of great shopping at Whimsy Stamps.  Have a great week, and please stop by again soon.  It's always greatly appreciated.

I'm playing along here:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says "Add Some Texture" - I added texture by creating a shaker card and lots of flowers that are layered.

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Simon Says "Use Patterned Paper" - I used a teal plaid patterned paper from JilliBean Soup.

Blessings,
Karen

Happy BirdDay w/Whimsy Stamps

When I first saw this darling Tweetie Pie Stamp Set at Whimsy Stamps, I fell in love with it.  I was patient, and I waited a couple months before I just had to own it.  How cute are these images?  I know this is a stamp set I'll use quite a bit.  The sentiments include Birthday (BirdDay), Thank You, etc. to give it great versatility that will cover several different occasions.  And those birds......ADORBS!
The set I used to create this card is called Tweetie Pie Stamp Set.  I stamped the branch, birds and sentiment using this sweet set.  I used the Forest Majesty Dies to cut those gorgeous trees in the background and I blended them in with the branches from the stamp set.  I thought they paired quite nicely.  I used a sweet floral pattern paper from the Calico 6x6 Paper Pad.
The Mix & Match Scallop Rectangle Frame Dies were used to cut the scallop frame (from cork) and the rectangles.  Again, it's great how you can pair products from Whimsy Stamps with others that compliment it so well.  I added some blue seam binding and red baker's twine as the finishing touches.  You'll always find so many great stamps, dies, stencils, embossing folders, paper and more when you shop at Whimsy Stamps.
Thanks so much for stopping by to visit me today.  I always appreciate your visits.  If you get a chance, I'd love to have you follow me on my Instagram and Pinterest as well.  That's where I primarily share my Whimsy Stamps projects, and I don't have many Followers.  LOL  Have a great day, everyone.

GIGANTIC Thanks w/Whimsy Stamps

I'm not sure how long I'll have the blessing and opportunity to design for Whimsy Stamps.  But I do know that I'm sure having fun on this Design Team and that Whimsy Stamps has no shortage of CUTE stamp sets, dies, patterned papers, stencils and so many great card-making products.  The stamp set I'm using today is absolutely adorable.  I know this is a set that I will definitely use over and over again.  How cute!
The stamp set I used to create this darling little Thank You card is the Sketched Elephants Stamp Set.  It has darling accent images, words, sentiments, and elephants.  I added a piece of patterned paper from the Calico Paper Pack.  The cute scallop background was created using the Mix & Match Scallop Rectangle Frame Dies.
Other than the Solid Cream Baker's Twine, everything you see on my card is from Whimsy Stamps.  This is a great stamp set to own because it has thank you sentiments, birthday, etc. so you can use it for various occasions.  And it's SO super cute.  Right?  I'm certainly not the best Copic coloring artist by any means whatsoever.  To be honest, I stink at it.  I need to take some classes.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I always appreciate your visits and comments, and I hope to make it by your blog (or social media) soon.  By the way, I need FOLLOWERS on Instagram if you are able.  Have a wonderful week, my creative friends.

I'm sharing my card here:

The Paper Funday Challenge - Challenge #68 - Anything Goes/Optional Twist Summer Holiday/Vacation - This card uses the Anything Goes theme and has lots of fabulous paper layers.  I love this challenge blog, and what AWESOME sponsors.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says "Add a Sentiment" w/Lawn Fawn - I didn't use any Lawn Fawn on this card.

God bless you all,
Karen
