Just For You w/Stamp Simply

If you're anything like me, you love a good cup of coffee.  My favorite is a vanilla latte, and I've learned how to make mine at home so that it tastes almost exactly like I'd expect from Starbucks or any good coffee shop.  I like how they turn out; and by making them at home, they don't cost $6 each and I'm able to make a second one any time I want.  Stamp Simply makes it easy for me to create FUN coffee cards.  There's still time to take part in the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers' Blog Hop for your chance to WIN some fabulous prizes - including a $25 gift card to spend at Super Sponsor, Stamp Simply.
I used basic white cardstock for my base and I layered that with patterned papers found in the awesome Coffee or Tea 6x6 Paper Pad.  I machine stitched them together on my white card base.  Next, I used the same patterned papers to cut several border strips using the Tim Holtz Crochet Border Dies.  Aren't those papers just SO lovely?
I cut a white doily in half and placed both halves onto my card.  I also slid a small glassine bag underneath the doilies where I tucked in a small Starbucks gift card.  The coffee mugs are stamped using the Have A Cup On Us Stamp Set and were cut using the coordinating Have A Cup On Us Dies.  I used the Coffee or Tea Stamp Set for the sentiments.  I stamped the sentiment (Just For You) onto a banner cut using the fabulous Fishtail Banner Dies.
The last thing I did to my card was to add some pretty purple Baker's Twine that I wrapped around it and tied into a pretty bow.  This is a great way to tuck in a gift, and Stamp Simply always has the perfect stamps and dies to help you create.  We hope that you'll visit us soon and that you'll come by the Stamp Simply Blog for even more amazing inspiration.  Thanks again for stopping by today.
Oh yeah...don't forget to join in on the 2025 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  Today is your last day to comment to win.  You can check it out here on the Stamp Simply Blog.

I'm sharing this card in the following:

First Cup Challenge Blog - May/Challenge #2 - Anything Goes Coffee/Beverage Related

The Neglected Stuff Challenge - The neglected items I used on this card include the dies, doilies, glassine bag, and the purple Starbucks gift card that I've been saving to use on a purple coffee card.

Karen

This card uses a piece a piece of patterned paper from the Craft Consortium's Ink Drops Sunset 6x6 Paper Pad as the base.  Next, I used a piece of white watercolor paper and added several colors of oxide ink to create the background.  The darling little coffee beans are found in the A Cup of Java Stamp Set.
The coffee mugs were cut using the Have a Cup On Us Steel Dies and I rubbed them with oxide inks.  I did the same thing with the hearts which were using the Pierced Nested Hearts Steel Dies.  The sentiment is found in the Have a Cup On Us Stamp Set.  There are SO many great stamps, dies, and all sorts of great products waiting for you at Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.
There's also lots of great inspiration every day on the Stamp Simply Blog to help you get some new ideas as well as staying up-to-date about special sales and promotions at Stamp Simply.  So, grab a cup of coffee or, a "hug in a cup" and join us.  Remember, if you leave a comment on THIS LINK, you will be entered to WIN a $25 gift card to Stamp Simply.

I'm playing along here in this fun challenge:

Color Throwdown Challenge #741 - Photo Inspiration Prompt - I love these colors along with the coffee.

A Barrel of Monkeys Challenge Blog - PopIts Toys - My granddaughter actually has a coffee shaped PopIt, and that's how I was inspired to create this card.
How cute, right?  She absolutely loves playing with these things.  I hope you're having fun playing along in some challenges this week.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says "No Patterned Paper" - so this card has NO patterned papers.  I made my own background by stamping the coffee beans everywhere.

Karen

You Had Me at Coffee

Thanks for stopping by to take a quick peek at this cute little coffee card I created using some fun older patterned papers from my stash.  They're from an older Crate Paper Maggie Holmes line that I picked up at (the now out of business everywhere) Tuesday Morning.  I got SO many great deals there that I can't even begin to tell you about them all.  I will miss what they used to be.
I used a peachy pinky piece of Bazzill cardstock and then added the patterned papers by way of some scalloped die borders that were cut from those pretty Maggie Holmes patterned papers.  That created the left border of my card and also hid a bit missing chunk of white watercolor paper that lay underneath.  It had a very specific purpose and it worked perfectly.  That scalloped border is also from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.
On the piece of white watercolor paper, I rubbed some Hickory Smoke Oxide Ink.  I stamped, cut and colored the coffee cups using a Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set called Coffee.  I added some Licorice Baker's Twine and a few white sequins as the finishing touches to this sweet little coffee card.
Thanks for stopping by and have a super happy week.  Hopefully, you'll be creating pretty things all week.  That's always fun.  Although this card was created using stamps from Sweet 'n Sassy, I still want to mention to y'all a great chance you have to WIN a $25 gift card to Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.  Be sure to use THIS LINK to leave a comment to be entered to WIN the $25 gift card.

Latte Latte Latte Espresso w/Stamp Simply

Hello friends and stamping partners.  Thanks for stopping by today to take a peek at this coffee card I created using some fabulous stamps and dies from Stamp Simply.  I always appreciate you visiting my blog to say hello.  Stamp Simply is also a sponsor of the Spring/Summer Coffee Loving Cardmakers' Blog Hop.  You won't want to miss out of any of the fun over at the Coffee Hop or miss out on the FUN shopping that awaits you at Stamp Simply.  We really hope you'll stop by to check out all their amazing products (stamps, dies, etc.) and fabulous inspiration on the Stamp Simply Blog.  Be sure to use THIS LINK to leave a comment to be entered to WIN the $25 gift card.
I used an Embossing Folder on a piece of Bazzill black paper that had gold on the reverse side.  So, I pressure embossed it, and then rubbed it lightly with sandpaper to reveal that beautiful gold color being pushed up from the other side of the paper through the embossing process.  How cool is that?  Here's a closer look.
I used inks to die a piece of watercolor paper.  I used that died piece to create the small top base layer onto which I stamped circles using the Fall/Winter Wreath Stamp Set.  I used the A Cup of Java Stamp Set to stamp the coffee beans onto those circles on that layer.  I also used that same pieces of stained paper to stamp and cut the two coffee cups by using the Have a Cup On Us Stamp Set and coordinating Steel Dies.  I also cut two layers of hearts from thin corkboard using the smallest heart in the Farmhouse Pierced Nested Heart Die Cut Set.  I added a piece of stained Cheesecloth, stained prills, Natural Burlap String, and a small paper button.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you'll take some time to visit Stamp Simply and check out all their amazing scripture stamps, coffee stamps, patriotic stamps, and stamps/dies for every occasion you can imagine.  We're always happy to answer any questions you might have.  Thanks again for popping by and have a wonderful week.

Blessings,
Karen
