Do you love Christmas as much as I do? Isn't it just the best? I'm getting excited already and it's still 100+ here in the warm valley desert of Las Vegas. But that doesn't stop me from making cute Christmas cards; and Stamp Simply has the most adorable New Release to help us all get started. You are going to LOVE these sweet new stamps and coordinating dies. I've been stamping and cutting these darling little stockings and mittens since I first opened this sweet new set.
How cute, right? And it's NOT me at all....it's these DARLING products from Stamp Simply. I used black and white basic cardstock for my base and then I cut a piece of Christmas Tartan Plaid patterned paper using the CC Tartan Plaid 6x6 Paper Pad. I machine stitched the edges in black and I added a small piece of .5" White Lace across my card.I cut the adorable Christmas stockings using cream wool felt. These dies from Stamp Simply cut right through that wool felt in ONE swipe. Like a knife through warm butter, it cut those socks perfectly (and this is a pretty thick felt. It's the basic cream from JoAnn's). I also cut the word BLESSINGS from black cardstock using the Blessings Word Die. All the Word Dies from Stamp Simply are this beautiful and SO helpful in crafting.I felt that the card needed some white/cream to break up the patterned paper, so I cut a small cream paper scrap and used Peeled Paint Oxide Ink to make the background on that. The darling sentiment was stamped using the new Christmas Stockings & Mittens Stamp Set. All the sentiments in this new set are SO sweet. There's always lots of great SS inspiration on the Stamp Simply Blog, and lots of great sales and products in the Stamp Simply Shop so don't miss either. Have a blessed week, y'all.
