LOVE JOY PEACE w/Stamp Simply

Today I'm up on the Stamp Simply Blog sharing a sweet Christmas card that uses just a few of my favorite products from Stamp Simply.  It's always fun to pull out these sweet stamps and try to find new and creative ways to use them.  The Vintage Christmas Background Stamp is one of my most favorite Stamp Simply products of all time.  It's a Christmas must-have and it makes such super sweet backgrounds.
I used black cardstock for the base that I layered with patterned papers from Craft Consortium Beach Hut 6x6 Paper Pad (green) and Carta Bella Christmas 6x6 Paper Pad.  I machine stitched my papers together.  The top layer was stamped using the gorgeous Vintage Christmas Background Stamp.  I used the coordinating Oval & Twigs Dies to cut the center oval.  I used a cardboard packaging scrap to cut the center oval and to stamp and cut the trees.  I like to repurpose cute things whenever possible.
The trees and the sentiment are found in the O Christmas Tree Stamp Set and I cut the trees with the O Christmas Tree Dies.  The sentiment was cut using the Fishtail Banner Dies and was placed at the bottom of the oval.  The trees have some 3-D Foam Tabs underneath to raise them and give them various dimensions.  I thought about a Seam Binding bow but decided against it this time.  The pretty paper layers are the star of this card.
Stamp Simply has so many gorgeous stamps, dies and crafting products to help you create fabulous cards.  You'll also find lots of great inspiration every day on the Stamp Simply Blog so don't miss any of the excitement, creativity and fun.  Thank you so much for visiting me here today and for leaving me your thoughts on today's card.  There's also a Christmas in July SALE this week that you'll want to take a look at, friends.  Happy crafting.
I'm sharing my Christmas card in this exciting event:

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog - Simon Says "Add Some Text" - The text paper I used in my opening and to stamp the trees is a piece of cardboard packaging from and old Crate Paper embellishment set.  I love the text so much that I just had to repurpose it.

Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers' Christmas in July Linky Party - This is my first (and may possibly be my only) entry.  I'm headed North to help care for my parents.  Bummed I won't be able to really play along in this special event.
Blessings,
Karen

Sweet Holiday Wishes

Welcome back to my little slice of blogland here, friends.  It's always a treat to have you stop by to take a peek at my art and to say hello.  I'm so glad you're here and I look forward to hearing what you think about the card I'm sharing today.  It was a lot of FUN to make, but then again, working with Creative Worship Stamps is always awesome fun.  Today is also the first day of the Creative Worship Stamps August Instagram Hop where one lucky person will WIN a $25 gift certificate to spend at Creative Worship Stamps.
I used black cardstock for my base, and I cut it using the awesome Stitched Rectangle Dies.  This wonderful die set creates a wonderful card base.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies again for the next two layers.  Then I stamped the cute wish list using the sweet Christmas Wish List Stamp.  All the "wishes" that I stamped onto the wish list were stamped in green inks using the Worshipful Wordfetti Stamp Set.  All the things listed here are things I truly do wish for in my life.
I ran a length of vintage lace across the bottom of my card.  I also stamped the sentiment, coffee cups and darling candy canes using the Holiday Cheer Clear Stamp Set.  I tucked some bundled Iridescent String under the sentiment for added texture.  It's fun combining stamp sets, and at Creative Worship there are SO many great choices.
As we share inspirational cards this month featuring the Four Seasons, we hope that you'll see just how ALL the wonderful products from Creative Worship Stamps allow your creativity to soar.  Treat yourself to a new stencil, stamp set, and some exciting new things this month.  Go ahead, you deserve it.

I'm sharing my card and linking it up in the following challenges:

Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge - Challenge #44 - I'm joining the Coffee Loving Papercrafters.  For this challenge, we're asked to share a Christmas themed card with a caffeinated element.  Yes, please!  While this challenge is being sponsored (via the Hostess, Jennifer) the wonderful Newton's Nook.  I didn't use any of their sweet products on my card because I don't own a lot of it.  I have to work with what I've got.  (lol)  I used products from Creative Worship Stamps.

Krafty Chicks Challenges:  Challenge #781 - Christmas - My card uses lots of fun products from Creative Worship Stamps.

TIME OUT Challenges - Challenge #295 - Photo Inspiration - I was drawn to the COFFEE image.  While I didn't go with the Summer vibes in the photo, I switched it up and made it a Christmas card; but I can't resist the coffee.
Blessings,
Karen

Merry Christmas w/Whimsy Stamps

Christmas will be here before you know it.  Whimsy Stamps has so many great stamps, dies and products to help you get a jump-start on your Christmas cards.  I love this Fadoodle Holly Stamp Set because it makes it super easy to quickly create a fun and festive card to wish everyone on your list a very Merry Christmas.
I used black and white basic cardstock on this card.  The first (green) layer was cut using the Mix & Match Rectangle Scallop Frame Dies and was rubbed with Mowed Lawn oxide ink.  The next layer is the inside cut from the Mix & Match Scallop Rectangle Frame Dies and it was rubbed with Fired Brick oxide ink.
The cute borders/lines that I stamped are found in the Fadoodle Holly Stamp Set as are the different sized holly and berries.  I colored the holly leaves with my Copics and I added a few tiny white sequins as an accent.  It's really a very simple card, and Whimsy Stamps makes it so easy to create something lovely for everyone on your Christmas list.
You can always find lots of great inspiration on all the Whimsy Stamps social media.  In fact, there are some more FUN new releases and Instagram Hops coming your way as Halloween approaches.  You won't want to miss any of the fun.  Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today, and please visit me on my social media to FOLLOW me.  Have a great week, everyone.
I'm sharing my Christmas card here:

Peace On Earth Challenge - Challenge #71 - Anything Goes Christmas - I was inspired by the photo in the upper right with the traditional reds and greens and holly/leaves.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says "Stamp It" - Wishing everyone a Happy Stamptember.  Congratulations to SSS for years of wonderful products and inspiration.

The Paper Funday Challenges - Challenge #69 - Anything Goes w/Optional Twist: Create Your Own Background.  I did create my own background by rubbing it with oxide ink and spritzing it with water.  I also did a bit of fun "Fadoodle" stamping on the background.  Another FUN challenge with wonderful sponsors.

Blessings,
Karen

Stamp Simply - The Stockings Were Hung

Do you love Christmas as much as I do?  Isn't it just the best?  I'm getting excited already and it's still 100+ here in the warm valley desert of Las Vegas.  But that doesn't stop me from making cute Christmas cards; and Stamp Simply has the most adorable New Release to help us all get started.  You are going to LOVE these sweet new stamps and coordinating dies.  I've been stamping and cutting these darling little stockings and mittens since I first opened this sweet new set.
How cute, right?  And it's NOT me at all....it's these DARLING products from Stamp Simply.  I used black and white basic cardstock for my base and then I cut a piece of Christmas Tartan Plaid patterned paper using the CC Tartan Plaid 6x6 Paper Pad.  I machine stitched the edges in black and I added a small piece of .5" White Lace across my card.
I cut the adorable Christmas stockings using cream wool felt.  These dies from Stamp Simply cut right through that wool felt in ONE swipe.  Like a knife through warm butter, it cut those socks perfectly (and this is a pretty thick felt.  It's the basic cream from JoAnn's).  I also cut the word BLESSINGS from black cardstock using the Blessings Word Die.  All the Word Dies from Stamp Simply are this beautiful and SO helpful in crafting.
I felt that the card needed some white/cream to break up the patterned paper, so I cut a small cream paper scrap and used Peeled Paint Oxide Ink to make the background on that.  The darling sentiment was stamped using the new Christmas Stockings & Mittens Stamp Set.  All the sentiments in this new set are SO sweet.  There's always lots of great SS inspiration on the Stamp Simply Blog, and lots of great sales and products in the Stamp Simply Shop so don't miss either.  Have a blessed week, y'all.
I'm playing along in these FUN challenges:

Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge - Challenge #612 - Anything Christmas - Use plaid/gingham
