Celebrate Fall at The Four Seasons Challenge

Are you ready for Autumn?  It's upon us.  I feel it in the air, and I've really been enjoying these cooler temperatures.  I look forward to pulling out my cute boots, jeans. sweaters and scarves.  I've also been enjoying making Fall cards and using some of my cute Autumn stamp sets.  We've got a FUN new Autumn Challenge starting today over at The Four Seasons Challenge Blog, and we sure hope that you will stop by to link up and share all your pretty Autumn creations this month.  AND...because we're celebrating our 1st Anniversary/Birthday at The Four Seasons Challenge, there are THREE PRIZES being offered.
I started with a black cardstock base and some cute Carta Bella patterned papers that I machine stitched together.  I used a small sentiment square from the Carta Bella Welcome Autumn 6x6 Paper Pad, and I ran some Brown & Cream Gingham Ribbon across my card and added a bow tied with it as well.  You know me my ribbons.....LOVE them.
When looking at the gorgeous inspiration photo for this challenge, I was primarily inspired by the beautiful colors of red, orange, yellow, etc.  These are the colors that say Autumn to me.  What is it about the inspiration photo that inspires you?  We can wait to see what you will create to share with us this month at The Four Seasons Challenge.  See you there.
I'll be playing along and sharing my card in the following challenges.

  1. What a delightful card Karen - love how you have let the rooster standout on his panel, and a gorgeous autumnal colour palette

  2. A beautifully created card Karen with all the pretty fall colors! I always love your designs and of course your use of the pretty ribbons too!! I will be missing our summer days but as long as it stays a bit warmer and the leaves stay on for awhile I enjoy all things fall myself!!

  3. I am loving the rustic feel of this card, so beautiful and fabulous rooster image!

  4. A fabulous card, Karen. You are the best at machine stitching. This card makes me want to go gather some fresh eggs on a cool fall morning. [Bunny]

  5. OMG ... how cool is this! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your overall design with the country rooster at the focus and that ribbon is fabulous! Thanks for sharing such wonderful inspiration! Hugs

  6. A very pretty card and I always love your added details.

  7. Rustic and cute. That rooster is strutting his stuff!

  8. Beautiful card, my friend! I love the way you sew on cards and am so excited because I now have a sewing machine that will sew on card stock! (My main one doesn't do well with paper for some reason.) I'll be casing your designs for sure!

Thanks for your comments. They mean so much to me.
