Welcome Baby Girl w/Stamp Simply

Hello, friends and welcome by my blog today.  I'm so grateful to have you visit me to take a quick peek at this FUN baby card I created using a few of the (many) AWESOME products from Stamp Simply.  When I say that Stamp Simply really has it ALL, I'm not exaggerating one bit.  They really do carry the perfect image and sentiment stamps for every occasion you can imagine....and then some.  This card was so much fun to make, and I just love using these amazing stamps and dies.  You'll love them, too.
I started with a piece of basic black cardstock and then I used a piece of gorgeous pink patterned paper from the Rose Ink Drops 6x6 Paper Pad from Craft Consortium.  The next layer is a piece of basic white cardstock that I rubbed with Spun Sugar Oxide Ink.  This is not a difficult card to create, and I'm happy to help you and answer any questions you might have.  Just get creative and let Stamp Simply help you by using their amazing products.
I die-cut the adorable baby outfit and bib using the Baby Basics Dies, and it was cut from patterned papers from both the Craft Consortium's Rose Ink Drops 6x6 Paper Pad as well as pieces from the Carta Bella Gather at Home 6x6 Paper Pad.  The lovely two-part sentiment was stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black Ink using the Welcome Baby Stamp Set. The finishing touch on this sweet little baby card was the row of roses I added by attaching a length of the gorgeous pink roses from the Pink & White Ribbon Sampler With Rosettes.
Please stop by Stamp Simply to take a look around at all their AWESOME stamps, dies, and even the perfect trims like these sweet roses I used.  You're always sure to find many lovely sets with just the right scripture, sentiment or image you need to make a really special, encouraging, and memorable card for the people in your life.  Thanks so much for visiting me today, and please stop by again soon.  I always appreciate your visits and comments so much.

I'm proudly sharing my sweet card in the following challenges that I love:

Celebrate Fall at The Four Seasons Challenge

Are you ready for Autumn?  It's upon us.  I feel it in the air, and I've really been enjoying these cooler temperatures.  I look forward to pulling out my cute boots, jeans. sweaters and scarves.  I've also been enjoying making Fall cards and using some of my cute Autumn stamp sets.  We've got a FUN new Autumn Challenge starting today over at The Four Seasons Challenge Blog, and we sure hope that you will stop by to link up and share all your pretty Autumn creations this month.  AND...because we're celebrating our 1st Anniversary/Birthday at The Four Seasons Challenge, there are THREE PRIZES being offered.
I started with a black cardstock base and some cute Carta Bella patterned papers that I machine stitched together.  I used a small sentiment square from the Carta Bella Welcome Autumn 6x6 Paper Pad, and I ran some Brown & Cream Gingham Ribbon across my card and added a bow tied with it as well.  You know me my ribbons.....LOVE them.
When looking at the gorgeous inspiration photo for this challenge, I was primarily inspired by the beautiful colors of red, orange, yellow, etc.  These are the colors that say Autumn to me.  What is it about the inspiration photo that inspires you?  We can wait to see what you will create to share with us this month at The Four Seasons Challenge.  See you there.
I'll be playing along and sharing my card in the following challenges.

Blessings,
Karen

Perfectly Plaid

Hello, friends!  I'm here today sharing a Christmas card that I made just for fun.  I was inspired by the talented Vicki Dutcher of the Just Us Girls Challenge Blog with her sweet plaid Christmas coffee card, as well as all the other designers' cards.  What a fun challenge.  And I just LOVE plaid, so I couldn't resist making a card to play along.  I used a gray cardstock base and added some fun patterned papers from a Carta Bella line called Christmas Delivery.  I inked the edges and then machine stitched my patterned papers.  I used this same line to add the journaling card and stickers for the sentiment and presents.  The small white doily is a Papertrey Ink die-cut.

I also used a Papertrey Ink die to cut the holly and ivy from wool felt, and I added some White Double Head Stamens, bundled Black Burlap String, and some red glittered berries in the upper left-hand corner to give my card some dimension.   It's a fairly simple card, and I suppose it's a good thing to get started on those Christmas cards, huh?

I hope you're having a great week, creating pretty things, perhaps even playing along in a few fun challenges.  I wish you all much happiness and joy during these difficult times.  As always, I encourage you to pray and keep your eyes on the Lord for all the answers you need.  He  loves us so much, and He wants to hear from us. Enjoy this time of year instead of dreading it.  Jesus is always the best way to find happiness.  It's like that old saying....."No Jesus, NO peace.  Know Jesus, KNOW peace".  I wish you peace and joy, my friends.

Have a blessed day!
Karen
