Jesus Is Enough

Pretty much every month, there's another fabulous NEW Release at Creative Worship Stamps.  This month we have yet another really fun release with some truly wonderful new stamp sets, dies and stencils.  It's been so much fun creating with these sweet new products, and I hope you'll stop by Creative Worship to take a look around at what's new.  Today I'm sharing a sweet floral card that I created with some of the new products.
I used basic black cardstock for my base, and I layered that with a piece of pink paper that I cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  Next. I used some Kitsch Oxide Ink and the fun NEW Moroccan Quatrefoil Stencil to create the background.  The small green splotches were stamped using the Going Postal Stamp Set and some Citron Oxide Ink.  I used Kitch, Spon Sugar, Lemonade and Citron Oxide Inks to paint the flower and leaves/stem.
The postcard image at the top of my card was stamped using the Vintage Postcards Stamp Set.  The cute NEW clipboard, sentiment and hearts were stamped using the NEW Heart of Gratitude Stamp Set.  This set has several awesome sentiments.  Finally, that sweet coneflower was stamped using the NEW Patient Echinacea Stamp Set and was painted with Oxide Inks and hand cut.
You can find lots of FABULOUS inspiration every day on the Creative Worship IG Page.  By the way, I'd be SO GRATEFUL to have you stop by Instagram and Follow me there. @karenletchworth  Thanks so much for stopping by to say hello.  It's always a treat to have you visit and leave me a comment.  Happy crafting, everyone.

I'm sharing my card here:

Perfectly Plaid

Hello, friends!  I'm here today sharing a Christmas card that I made just for fun.  I was inspired by the talented Vicki Dutcher of the Just Us Girls Challenge Blog with her sweet plaid Christmas coffee card, as well as all the other designers' cards.  What a fun challenge.  And I just LOVE plaid, so I couldn't resist making a card to play along.  I used a gray cardstock base and added some fun patterned papers from a Carta Bella line called Christmas Delivery.  I inked the edges and then machine stitched my patterned papers.  I used this same line to add the journaling card and stickers for the sentiment and presents.  The small white doily is a Papertrey Ink die-cut.

I also used a Papertrey Ink die to cut the holly and ivy from wool felt, and I added some White Double Head Stamens, bundled Black Burlap String, and some red glittered berries in the upper left-hand corner to give my card some dimension.   It's a fairly simple card, and I suppose it's a good thing to get started on those Christmas cards, huh?

I hope you're having a great week, creating pretty things, perhaps even playing along in a few fun challenges.  I wish you all much happiness and joy during these difficult times.  As always, I encourage you to pray and keep your eyes on the Lord for all the answers you need.  He  loves us so much, and He wants to hear from us. Enjoy this time of year instead of dreading it.  Jesus is always the best way to find happiness.  It's like that old saying....."No Jesus, NO peace.  Know Jesus, KNOW peace".  I wish you peace and joy, my friends.

Have a blessed day!
Karen
