Thinking of You at Christmas - RRR Blog Hop

It's Blog Hop time once again at Really Reasonable Ribbon, and we're SO glad that you're here to be a part of it.  One of the many things that I really LOVE about Really Reasonable Ribbon is that I can always find all the perfect trims of every kind AND so many other fabulous products as well.  In fact, they carry all the things that "complete" and enhance our cards and projects.  They really have just a bit of it all.  You should have arrived here today by way of Misty's Blog; but if not, you can catch up quickly.
I used kraft cardstock layered with some pretty Crate Paper patterned papers from their Bundled Up line.  I cut them with my postage frame dies.  The sentiment is found in the Christmas Greetings for Difficult Times Set from Bonnie Garby Designs. I layered all the paper using piece of Scor-Tape to hold it all together securely.  The chipboard tags are also from Crate Paper's Bundled Up collection.
The bow at the top is also secured with pieces of Scor-Tape.  I used a length of Bay Leaf Seam Binding and a piece of Solid Pink Baker's Twine to create my bow, and it's topped with a White Miniature Sweetheart Blossom.  I did a bit of machine stitching around the edges of my card, but that's pretty much it.
Whatever ribbons, trims or twines you're looking for; you're sure to find them all at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Your last stop on this Blog Hop is at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog where you'll answer one quick question to be entered to win the fabulous prizes.  However, to be fair, don't forget to leave each DT Member on the hop a quick comment.  Thanks for hopping along with us.

I'm playing along here:

TIME OUT Challenge - Challenge #276 - Cozy - These pretty Christmas colors say COZY to me.  They're warm and welcoming.

A Cut Above Challenge - November: Let's Warm It Up - I used layers of patterned paper and some postage dies to cut each layer including the sentiment layer.

July Blog Hop w/Really Reasonable Ribbon

If you're ready for a FUN and inspiring Blog Hop, then you're in the right place.  You should have arrived here by way of Misty's Blog; but if not you're able to catch up quickly.  The theme of our Blog Hop this month is Christmas in July.  I've combined some sweet die cuts with papers, trims, goodies from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and a sweet sentiment from Bonnie Garby Designs.  The prizes for this month's Blog Hop is a $10 credit to Really Reasonable Ribbon and two digital stamp sets of choice from Bonnie Garby Designs.  How sweet is this sentiment?
The Bonnie Garby Designs sentiment that I used on this card is from her The Heart of Christmas Bundle.  I cut it, and some of the other pieces, using a crimped frame from Gina K. Designs.  The sprinkles inside my mugs (gingerbread men and candy canes) are from Twiddler's Nook.  I tucked in several Double Head Stamens, a real cinnamon stick, and a length of both Black & White Bold Check Ribbon and Bay Leaf Seam Binding.  I tied a bow with the Black & White Bold Check Ribbon.
Because they're just so cute and I couldn't resist.....I made a matching tag/bookmark for this card.  I've been trying to remember to create a matching tag/bookmark and envelope when making my cards lately.  It's quick and easy, and even a simple piece of Baker's Twine could be the perfect touch every time.
The tag also uses lots of fabulous Scor-TapeBlack & White Bold Check Ribbon and a length of Teal Baker's Twine.  One of the reasons why I love Baker's Twine so much is because it's just ten cents ($0.10/yard) per yard.  Another is that it comes is so many fabulous colors - both striped and solid.  Baker's Twine is the perfect accent for tags, bookmarks and so many different projects.
I used several pieces of Scor-Tape in various widths to secure everything in place.  I also used some White 3-D Foam Tabs to raise the edges of the coffee mugs and some of the glitter-frosted marshmallows.  This was just one of those cards where I found myself adding more and more.....and then some more.  A small JenniBowlin blue ticket, a miniature Tim Holtz staple, Crate Paper stickers.  One of my signature cards where I just keep adding things as I go.
Really Reasonable Ribbon always has the perfect trims, twines and touches for every card and every project.  I'm also always so excited about the fabulous Adhesives available at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  OK, so your last stop on this Blog Hop is over on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog where you'll answer one final question.  Thanks for joining us this month, and please don't forget to leave a comment on each blog.

Blessings,
Karen

Stitched Easter Card & Bookmark w/RRR

I think Easter has to be one of my most favorite holidays for crafting.  I just love all things pastel, soft and sweet, and of course.....covered in ribbons and bows.  Really Reasonable Ribbon always has the perfect trims and accents for every project I make.  They can help you find the perfect products for your next project as well.
I have always loved stitching dies, cross-stitching, and making various things than can incorporate my cross-stitching with my card-making.  This duo was a lot of fun to make.  I used corrugated cardboard for the base of both my card and the matching bookmark.  I like to use scraps of paper whenever possible.  Some are so cute that you just hate throwing them out, you know?  Here's an occasion to use them.
I used some Brushed Corduroy Ink to "stain" or "dirty" my lengths of Bay Leaf Seam Binding.  I also bundled some Natural Burlap String and placed atop the embroidery hoops as well as in the pretty bow where I tucked in a few Double Head Stamens.  There are so many soft sweet touches at Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I thought it would be a cute idea to make a matching bookmark for this sweet card.  I found both of the cross-stitch images on Pinterest.  All those wonderful layers are securely attached using lots of fabulous Scor-Tape.  There are several lengths of Green Apple Seam Binding hanging from the top of the bookmark.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you'll visit the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog often for lots of great inspiration and then do some shopping at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Treat yourself.   I hope you have a really great week.

I'm playing along here in these fun challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog - Simon Says "Not a Card" so I'm entering my bookmark.

Paper Funday Challenge Blog - Challenge #62 - Anything Goes w/Optional Twist of No Patterned Paper.  Well, I used some patterned papers on my card and bookmark.

TIME OUT Challenge Blog - Challenge #257 - Happy 10th Birthday to TIME OUT Challenge Blog.  While this isn't a birthday card, it's certainly a very special card/bookmark that was made to help celebrate an Easter birthday for someone very special.
Stay creative.

Blessings,
Karen

Love, Hope & Joy w/Really Reasonable Ribbon

Christmas has come and gone, and a new year has begun.  It's hard to believe how quickly it comes and how quickly it all passes us by again.  We hurry, we stress, we get all our gifts and wrap them, bake our cookies, trim the tree, and....oh my!  It's always so hectic.  And then we find ourselves right here in the start of a New Year.  All of us at Really Reasonable Ribbon hope that your Christmas was happy and blessed.  Now, let's all try to focus on Love, Hope and Joy - in our own lives and in how we treat others.
Any time you want to make a CUTE card, you'll always find the perfect trims, Adhesives, Mulberry Flowers, Embellishments and more at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  These awesome products will always match any patterned papers or designs you've already got on hand.  This card was created with some patterned papers from Crate Paper, and I knew RRR had the perfect trims, as always.  I ran a length of 1/2" Red Wrinkle Ribbon down the middle of my card and tied a bow with that and some Bay Leaf Seam Binding.  I topped that with some rusty jingle bells tied tightly with a length of Natural Burlap String.
Everything is held securely in place using strips of Scor-Tape; which is a FANTASTIC Adhesive that holds everything right where it belongs.   At the bottom of my card, I added a Maya Road canvas tag that's topped with a sticker and a holly/ivy stamped and die-cut image from Paper Sweeties.  It's tied with a length of (another favorite of mine) Solid Ivory Baker's Twine.  Honestly, I can't get enough of all the fabulous trims and goodies from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I know you'll LOVE them, too.  Thanks for stopping by, and happy crafting.

Give Thanks w/Really Reasonable Ribbon

It's no secret that I absolutely LOVE ribbons.  Those who stop by my blog frequently (and I do SO appreciate you) are aware that I enjoy working with lots and lots of RIBBON, and that I feel so very blessed to be on the Really Reasonable Ribbon DT.  I just love the extra texture that ribbons and trims add to any and every project they touch.  And when it comes to ribbons and trims, Really Reasonable Ribbon has it ALL and then some.

I used black cardstock and some cute Carta Bella Hello Autumn 6x6 Patterned Papers and journalling card to create my card base. Well..... all that AND lots of lovely RIBBONS. I added a length of Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Plaid Orange Ribbon With Black Stitched Edges, and one of my all-time favorites - Bay Leaf Seam Binding. I used all the same trims as listed and linked above to make my little tag at the bottom left. I stamped the word thanks on a small kraft tag and tied it all together with a nice long piece of Ivory Burlap String. It just helped me tie in, and repeat, all the different ribbons I laid on my card underneath the sentiment square. Thanks for stopping by today, and please don't forget to visit Really Reasonable Ribbon for ALL your ribbon needs (as well as Adhesives, Flowers, Embellishments and SO much more).
I also made a matching envelope for my card.  I like to do this whenever possible because it's SO easy to do, and it makes card-giving so much more fun.  Just handing someone a decorated envelope lets them know that something extra special is inside.
Here's where I'm playing along:

Thanks again for visiting.
Blessings,
Karen

Enjoy.....Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello friends, and welcome by  today as I share a quick little card with you all that I created using some more of my favorites from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Shop.  I started with some green card stock and added some coordinating My Mind's Eye - On Trend patterned papers attaching them with strips of Scor-Tape.  Next, I added one mint green and one baby pink glittery feather from Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby).  Well, we all know that I couldn't stop there.....and I knew I had the perfect Really Reasonable Ribbon products for this card.
I added two different sizes (the smaller one is harder to see, but it's in there) Wild Orchid Crafts Green/White Mulberry Leaves, and then I added some Gold Double-Head StamensWhite Double-Head StamensBaby Pink Double-Head Stamens, and Aqua Green Double-Head Stamens.  Have I mentioned how much I LOVE these sweet little accents?  Double Head Flower Stamens are a must-have item at just $1.99 per bundle of 160 pieces.  They're the cutest.
I also added a pretty bow tied with Bay Leaf Seam BindingBaby Pink Seam Binding and topped with Gold Metallic String.  Finally, I placed some sweet Pink Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms and some Miniature Mint Sweetheart Blossoms cascading down the bow.  These are such adorable little Mulberry Flowers for tucking in here and there.....and everywhere.  You're sure to find something AMAZING in the RRR shop, and I encourage you to treat yourself to something new.

Happy crafting!
Karen

A Little Love With Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello to all my ribbon-loving friends, and welcome by my blog!  I hope you're having a wonderful week.  Here in Las Vegas, it's been SO nice and warm (in the high 60's to low 70's).  It hardly even seems like Winter, and I'm loving it.  Today I'm sharing this super sweet Valentine with you that I made using some lovely seam binding and goodies from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  They have everything you need to create something extra special for your special Valentine.  Isn't this sweet?
This card started with an ivory base and some romantic patterned papers.  I used one as a base, and the other two to die-cut and hand-stitch layered hearts with dusty pink DMC floss.  I also added some tulle netting over the smaller heart to hold in some white sequins.  I attached the hearts together using Scor-Tape which is an amazing long-lasting Adhesive available in several different widths.  I use it quite a bit cuz it ROCKS!
I ran a width of GORGEOUS Bay Leaf Seam Binding across my card and also tied a bow with it.  I also added a bow tied with Cotton Candy Baker's Twine, and used that to attach a small inked hang tag with my stamped sentiment (Love) from a rusty pear-shaped safety pin.  I tucked some White Double Head StamensBaby Pink Double Head Stamens, and Aqua Green Double Head Stamens behind the bow cluster, and bundled some Ivory Burlap String underneath everything.
Be sure to stop by the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog each day to find inspiration, learn about special promotions, and take part in our monthly Blog Hops.  There's always something exciting to be found there, and LOTS of great products for you to enjoy in the Really Reasonable Ribbon Shop.  Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today, friends.  I always appreciate your visits and your kind comments, but especially so now while I'm feeling crummy.

Bless you,
Karen
