Wishing You Peace w/Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello, crafty friends!  Thanks for stopping by today to visit and to take a quick peek at this FUN card I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon using just a few of their (many) awesome products.  Adding ribbons and trims to my cards is always fun because it gives our cards texture, dimension, color and personality.  Like all of the amazing products at Really Reasonable Ribbon, these few quick goodies made my very simple card special.
This beautiful sentiment is from Bonnie Garby Designs.  You will always find the most amazing sentiments at Bonnie Garby Designs because she creates her sentiments with real people, like you and me, in mind.  Knowing that we all go through difficult times, she created this special Christmas set called Christmas Greetings for Difficult Times Digital Stamp Set to wish others a Merry Christmas while also encouraging them if they've had a difficult year.  I know exactly to whom I'll be sending this special Christmas card.
I used a cranberry cardstock layered with Crate Paper Bundled Up patterned papers, and I cut them using the Crimped Frame Dies from The Greetery.  The top layer is basic white cardstock that I stencilled using the Delightfully Delicate Stencil from Creative Worship Stamps.  Next came the FUN part, which is adorning my card with some lovely trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I used Light Pink & White Gingham Ribbon, a length of Solid Pink Baker's Twine and I tucked in several pretty Double Head Stamens.
Double Head Stamens come in so many great colors and styles, and they add such a cool texture to cards.  I topped the chipboard piece and the bow with some lovely 12mm White Flatback Faux Pearls from the Embellishments Section at RRR.  Lots of wonderful Scor-Tape holds everything securely in place, and I know it will hold everything right where I've placed it all.  Be sure to check the RRR Blog often for sales and promotions as well as lots of great inspiration.  Thanks so much for visiting today, and please stop by again soon.

Here's where I'm sharing my Christmas card:

Stencil Fun Challenge Blog - November: Anything Goes Using Stencil - I used a pretty Delicate Doily Stencil from Creative Worship Stamps.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says "Sparkle and Shine" so I added the cute little White Flatback Pearls.

Blessings,
Karen

Thinking of You at Christmas - RRR Blog Hop

It's Blog Hop time once again at Really Reasonable Ribbon, and we're SO glad that you're here to be a part of it.  One of the many things that I really LOVE about Really Reasonable Ribbon is that I can always find all the perfect trims of every kind AND so many other fabulous products as well.  In fact, they carry all the things that "complete" and enhance our cards and projects.  They really have just a bit of it all.  You should have arrived here today by way of Misty's Blog; but if not, you can catch up quickly.
I used kraft cardstock layered with some pretty Crate Paper patterned papers from their Bundled Up line.  I cut them with my postage frame dies.  The sentiment is found in the Christmas Greetings for Difficult Times Set from Bonnie Garby Designs. I layered all the paper using piece of Scor-Tape to hold it all together securely.  The chipboard tags are also from Crate Paper's Bundled Up collection.
The bow at the top is also secured with pieces of Scor-Tape.  I used a length of Bay Leaf Seam Binding and a piece of Solid Pink Baker's Twine to create my bow, and it's topped with a White Miniature Sweetheart Blossom.  I did a bit of machine stitching around the edges of my card, but that's pretty much it.
Whatever ribbons, trims or twines you're looking for; you're sure to find them all at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Your last stop on this Blog Hop is at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog where you'll answer one quick question to be entered to win the fabulous prizes.  However, to be fair, don't forget to leave each DT Member on the hop a quick comment.  Thanks for hopping along with us.

I'm playing along here:

TIME OUT Challenge - Challenge #276 - Cozy - These pretty Christmas colors say COZY to me.  They're warm and welcoming.

A Cut Above Challenge - November: Let's Warm It Up - I used layers of patterned paper and some postage dies to cut each layer including the sentiment layer.

Blessings,
Karen

Happy Birthday w/Really Reasonable Ribbon

When it comes to ribbons, trims, laces, twines, strings, ginghams, silks, grosgrain, and all things spooled; we know that Really Reasonable Ribbon is the place to go for all these fabulous trims.  However, did you know that Really Reasonable Ribbon also carries fabulous Mulberry Flowers, Adhesives, Embellishments and so much more?
This first photo (although not a fabulous photo) shows you both of the cards I created for today's post.  I combined some simple trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon with some awesome sentiments from Bonnie Garby Designs.  They can be found in the Birthday Greetings 2 Digital Stamp Bundle.  These fabulous digital sentiments make it easy and affordable to create beautiful cards.
This first card uses white cardstock and some various patterned paper scraps from my older stash paper bins.  I ran a length of beautiful White Satin Feminine Floral Ribbon down the left-hand side of my card securing it in place with Scor-Tape.  I also wrapped that side with a long length of Solid Deep Pink Baker's Twine.  I strung several cute White Faux Pearl Flatback Hearts from the Embellishments Section.
Every single sentiment from Bonnie Garby Designs is beautiful.  You can see how crisp and clear these sentiments look.  Stunning!  You will love all the wonderful options at Bonnie Garby Designs too.  And at Really Reasonable Ribbon, you can find so many great crafting products from Adhesives to Ribbons and SO much more.
My second card uses white cardstock and patterned papers from Echo Park Have Faith 6x6 Paper Pad.  The sentiment is also found in the Birthday Greetings 2 Digital Stamp Bundle from Bonnie Garby Designs.  That pretty grosgrain ribbon I used on this card is called Roses w/Scalloped Edge on Navy Grosgrain.  It's sold out, but there's still a beautiful Coral version available.
If you don't yet have a "most favorite Adhesive", you will definitely want to check out Scor-Tape.  It comes it several great widths and it holds things in place securely.  That's one great thing about RRR...most of what they offer comes in several options.  You're sure to find several things to help you in your crafting.  Thanks so much for stopping by today to take a peek.  Happy crafting, everyone.

I'm playing along in the following challenges I love:

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge - Challenge #600 - I'm entering my first Birthday card in this FUN challenge.  I also want to wish this awesome Design Team a very celebrated birthday/anniversary and to thank them all for providing us with fabulous inspiration and great challenges.....600 of them!

The Paper Funday Challenges: August - Anything Goes w/Optional Twist of Summer Vacation/Holiday - I used the Anything Goes option.  There are SO many layers of paper on these cards.  I absolutely LOVE this challenge and being inspired to use up my paper stash.  These papers came from deep down in my stash!  LOL  Come, join the fun!

Blessings,
Karen

Happy Birthday w/Really Reasonable Ribbon

It's always FUN to make and send a Birthday card to someone special.  I love using sentiments from Bonnie Garby Designs along with trims and adornments from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  This sweet little card combines both perfectly into this easy little Birthday card for someone important in my life who deserves a sweet card.
I used black cardstock and some older Doodlebug patterned papers to create my card base.  I pieced together the background with plaids/ginghams and found some coordinating trims at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The trims I added across my card, at top right, and on the bow include the lovely Black & White Bold Gingham Ribbon, and Solid Deep Pink Baker's Twine.
The sweet birthday sentiment I used is from Bonnie Garby Designs, and can be found in the Birthday Greetings 3 Stamp Set.  The crisp images are always eye-catching, even when I rub oxide inks over them.  I also used an older stamp set to add the additional arrow.  I used Scor-Tape to attach most everything, and I also added some Faux Pearl Accents.
Thanks so much for visiting me today.  It's always great to hear your thoughts about what I made.  It's also great to hear what FUN things you've been doing with ribbons lately.  Really Reasonable Ribbon has so much to offer....from ribbons, trims and laces to adhesives, flowers and more.  Please visit again soon and happy crafting, y'all.

Blessings,
Karen
