Stamp Simply Sponsors Word Art Wednesday

Hello and welcome by my blog, dear friends.  It's starting to get rather warm in the desert.  The attic fan in the evenings, and the air conditioning most of the day.  It won't be long before the air needs to run round-the-clock to keep us cooled off.  But for now, I'm enjoying the breezes through open windows and the joy of being able to go for an occasional walk outdoors.
Obviously, I also enjoy my time indoors and in my craft room when time allows.  I was blessed to have some time this weekend and early this week to spend in my craft room.  And, I was also blessed to have my printer decide to work for me this week.  It allowed me to create a card (with the free digital scripture file) for Word Art Wednesday.  I also wanted to use a stamp set from our awesome sponsor, Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.
There are a couple of colored cardstocks and some patterned papers that I inked and glued together to create my base.  Next, I painted a background and printed the scripture file onto my painted/inked white cardstock.  I used the Seasonal Wreath Spring/Summer Stamp Set from Stamp Simply Clear Stamps to create the wreath that surrounds the scripture.  I used my Copics on some the leaves and to make "flowers" or dots of color here and there.  The last thing I added was some bundled Black Burlap String, a few Double-Head Stamens, and some rolled paper flowers.

I do hope that you'll stop by Word Art Wednesday to play along with us.  One lucky person will win a FABULOUSLY GENEROUS prize from Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.  It's always a great blessing to  me when I see you all stop by Word Art Wednesday to share your artistic talents with us.  Your art is a blessing and encouragement to me.  And...you can WIN a fabulous prize.  I hope to see you there.

Blessings,
Karen

I'm sharing my card in the following challenges:
