Annual Christmas Blog Hop w/Word Art Wednesday

It's the most wonderful time of the year!  Christmas is fast approaching, and once again; it's time for the Word Art Wednesday Annual Christmas Blog Hop.  You should have arrived here by way of our fabulous Guest Designer's Blog, Kathy Schweinfurth.  Wasn't her card amazing?  Be sure to enter the challenge for your chance to WIN one of the THREE (3) fabulous sponsor prizes.  There are TWO (2) $25 Unity Stamps gift vouchers and one digital stamp set of choice from Bonnie Garby Designs up for grabs.  Then also remember to visit each blog in the hop and leave a comment on each one.  By doing this, you'll be entered to win the fabulous prizes shown on each blog.
The card I'm sharing started with you here today isn't the card I have posted on the Word Art Wednesday Blog.  I used a card on the WAW Blog that went along with the theme of the word art (lantern light), but it's a card that I've posted previously for Creative Worship Stamps.  So, for that reason, I also created a card just for this blog post.  I used a sentiment from the Christmas Song Lyrics Stamp Bundle from Bonnie Garby Designs.
I used a cream cardstock base layered with the vintage sheet music for Silent Night Holy Night, and I cut it using the Stitched Rectangle Dies from Creative Worship.  I used the Vintage Christmas Images Stamp Set from Stamp Simply for those pretty bells.  I cut them with the coordinating Vintage Christmas Images Dies.  I also added some Iridescent White String to my card for added shimmer and texture.
There are SO many great prizes to be won on our Annual Christmas Blog Hop.  By leaving a comment here on my blog, you'll be entered to WIN a Starbucks Gift Card and a 12-color Altenew Watercolor Set.   All the winners will be announced on the Word Art Wednesday January 7 Blog Post.  Physical prizes require a U.S. shipping address; otherwise, an alternate prize will be arranged.  Thanks for understanding.
There are also prizes for entering the challenge, so don't miss out on your opportunity to WIN some of these prizes.  Be sure to stop by the blog of each Design Team Member to leave a comment.  Your next stop on this Blog Hop is at Barb Finnical's Blog, and I know she has a beautiful inspiration card and some AWESOME prizes for you.
Best of luck to everyone in the random draw for these fabulous prizes.  We look forward to seeing what you'll share in the Word Art Wednesday Challenge, too.  Have a great week, everyone.  We're always so grateful for your visits and fellowship.

Blessings,
Karen

It's WAW 5th Annual Christmas Blog Hop Time

Hurray!  Are you ready for FUN and PRIZES?  Well, if so; you're in the right place because it's time for the 5th Annual Christmas Blog Hop at Word Art Wednesday and I'm SO glad you've chosen to join us.  We have lots of fabulous prizes up for grabs including TWO $25 Gift Cards to Unity Stamps and a prize package at each blog along the way.  The prizes you see on each blog (there are six blog stops in total) are the prizes for which you'll be entered to win by leaving a comment on that blog.  You should have arrived here by way of Natalie's Blog.  You can always get started and caught up by visiting Word Art Wednesday.
For this card, I used kraft cardstock and a piece of polka dot patterned paper from my super old stash.  I printed the scripture onto that patterned paper and cut the layers using a Postage Die.  I added a length of May Arts Brown Stitched Canvas Ribbon to my card.  Next, I added some bundled up Natural Burlap String topped with some wool felt leaves and rusty jingle bells.
You can get all the beautiful word art/scripture files for FREE by visiting us at Word Art Wednesday.  You can also play along in our challenges where we're blessed to have AWESOME Sponsors/Prizes.  Like I mentioned earlier, we have TWO $25 Gift Cards to Unity Stamps being offered as prizes for this challenge.  Here's a photo of the prizes being offered here on my blog.  Just leave me a comment to be entered for this FABULOUS prize of three stamp sets from Stamp Simply.
This is the final stop on the Blog Hop, and I hope you've enjoyed yourself.  If you've left a comment on each blog, you're now entered and eligible to WIN a whole lot of fabulous prizes.  We're so glad you've joined us.  Now, just be sure to enter your cards in the Word Art Wednesday gallery to be entered to win one of the TWO $25 prizes to Unity Stamps.
Happy crafting, everyone.  I'm always delighted to have you stop by to take a peek at my cards and say hello.  I look forward to visiting your blog when you leave a comment and enter our challenge at Word Art Wednesday.  Have a blessed and creative week, my sweet friends.  I appreciate you very much.

I'm sharing my card here:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Use Dies in Die-cember - I used postage dies for the base and leaf dies for the brown and green wool felt leaves.

It's Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop Time

Blog Hops are FUN, and they're a great way to win some fabulous prizes, get some great inspiration, and just meet some different crafters. So with that said, you're in the right place if you're looking for the monthly Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop.  Hopefully, you arrived here by way of Misty's Blog.  If not, you can catch up quickly.
There are TWO FUN PRIZES to be won on this Blog Hop.  First and foremost, the lucky person who comments on each blog and gets their number selected by random draw will WIN a $10 Gift Card to spend at Really Reasonable Ribbon (which can go a long way) AND they'll also win their choice oany one (1) digital stamp set from Bonnie Garby Designs.  Let me tell you, there are some really DARLING stamp sets at this darling Etsy Shop.  I use them on my cards quite a bit because I can find the perfect sentiment every time, and that makes it easy.
This was such a fun card to make.  It uses basic white cardstock, gold glittery paper, and some Crate Paper patterned papers from my stash.  I used a cute little Hearts at Home Clock Die from The Greetery; and I added some adorable Twiddler's Nook sprinkles here and there.  A piece of Bay Leaf Seam Binding separates the two patterned papers, and I also used it to tie a pretty bow.  I topped it with a bow that's tied with Gold Metallic String.  Like I said, Really Reasonable Ribbon always has the perfect trim for every project.  I also tucked in several Double Head Stamens at the top of the alarm clock, and everything is secured in place using Scor-Tape and 3-D Foam Tabs.
I'll also say this about my friend Bonnie, the Owner of both RRR and Bonnie Garby Designs.  She's honestly one of the sweetest, most amazing women I know.  She amazes me with how she ROCKS at card-making/crafting, at her businesses, and how hard she works all the time.  She's had (more than) her share of life's hurdles for a season in her life, but she keeps on going.  She's a real-life super-hero.  It's such a blessing now to watch her succeed as she moves forward, and I'd be truly honored to have you support her AWESOME small business(es).  RRR carries so many great products including ribbons and trims, Adhesives and much more; so please stop by to take a look at what you might possibly need.  It would be a blessing to have you visit the store just to make sure there's nothing you "can't live without".  lol

Your final stop is at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog where you'll need to answer one quick question making you eligible for the wonderful prizes being offered in this FUN Blog Hop.  Please leave your comment here to let me know what you think of this card I created, and then head on over to the RRR Blog.  We're so grateful to have you hop along with us.

Thanks again for visiting me today, and happy crafting.

I'm sharing my card here:

The Paper Funday Challenge Blog - Challenge #63 - Anything Goes/Optional Twist: The Dies Have It.  On this card, the dies I used include the postage frame dies, the sentiment banner, and the darling alarm clock.  I just LOVE die-cuts.

Die Cut Divas Challenge Blog - March: Anything Goes - This card uses a cute alarm clock die cut, a postage stamp background die and a Fishtail Banner Die for the sentiment.

Blessings,
Karen

Word Art Wednesday BLOG HOP Time

Welcome by my blog today, everyone.  It's time for the Annual Word Art Wednesday Blog Hop and there are LOTS of great prizes up for grabs.  The primary sponsor is Stamp Simply with a generous $25 gift voucher, we have Tonic Studios offering some their gorgeous stamps, dies and LOTS of other great products.  Each stop on this Blog Hop offers an awesome prize.  Just leave a comment on each blog to be entered to win that prize.  You should have arrived here by way of our Guest Designer, Esther's Blog, but if not, just head over to Word Art Wednesday to get started.
My card doesn't use the scripture word art because my printer has been broken for the longest time and we don't really have need of a home printer so we're not replacing it.  For that reason, I've chosen to create and share a card that features some products from our primary sponsor, Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.  I started with basic black cardstock and a patterned paper base that I machine stitched.  I added a scalloped frame from Taylored Expressions and I pressure embossed the center of it in red using a music embossing folder.  This is the prize being offered from my blog (just leave a comment).  It includes a Valentine stamp set, two Poppy Stamps die-cut sets and some Melissa Frances glitters.
The sentiment strip on my card was cut using the Fishtail Banner Dies and was also embossed using the Sizzix Snowfall Speckles Embossing Folder.  This sentiment is found in the Christmas Peace Stamp Set (Wishing You/God's) and the Peace die-cut is the Peace & Joy Word Die Cuts.  The pretty candle is also found in the Christmas Peace Stamp Set and I used the Christmas Peace Candle Die Cut to cut the candle.  The center of the framed area (in burgundy) is also pressure embossed with a music embossing folder to add even more wonderful texture to my card.
I ran a length of pretty Christmas Tradition Gingham Ribbon across my card and tied a bow with it.  I sure hope that you're hopping along with us in the Word Art Wednesday Annual Blog Hop.  There are so many great prizes.  And, anyone placing a new order at Stamp Simply during this challenge will be entered to win the Fishtail Banner Dies by leaving me a comment letting me know what you purchased.  WOW!  That's a total of TEN awesome prizes that you can win.
Be sure to leave a comment on each blog and then at Word Art Wednesday.  As always, the main prize can be won by entering our challenge and will be selected by random draw.  Have a blessed week, and thanks for sharing your art with us and for taking part in our FUN Blog Hop.  I pray that you will take time to thank God for the BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT EVER.  He has given us the gift of His Son, Jesus.  This gift is Essential, Expensive (but already paid for in full), Enjoyable, Exciting and Everlasting.  He offers it to you today, and my prayer is that you're enjoying it every day of your life and for ALL Eternity!

I'm playing along here:
Can You Handle the Pressure - Embossing Challenge Blog - Anything Goes/Christmas - I used the Tim Holtz Falling Snow Embossing Folder on my sentiment strip and my Music Embossing Folder on the framed area.  Entry 3/3

Blessings,
Karen
