Believe w/Really Reasonable Ribbon

I believe!  I believe in the true meaning of Christmas.....the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.  On a lighter note, I also believe in having FUN at Christmas time.  At our house, we have always done a version of "Santa Claus", leaving out cookies and filling our stockings (even though the kids knew it was always Mom and Dad), I believe in the "magic" of snowmen, and all the fun make-believe things that make Christmas exciting to celebrate.  We can honor God while still having fun celebrating the things we believe in and that help us make Christmas a really special time for everyone.  The card I'm sharing today celebrates the "magic" of a Winter Snow Globe; and Really Reasonable Ribbon helped me bring it to life.

I used basic black cardstock on my base that I layered with a Lawn Fawn Perfect Plaid patterned paper and then a layer of white cardstock.  I used the cute Snow Globe Tag Dies from Trinity Stamps to create everything in the snow globe.  I tied a length of Solid Cream Baker's Twine to the top of the (tag) snow globe.  Yes, I do LOVE Baker's Twine because it's such a fabulous trim, it comes in oodles of colors of both solids and stripes, and it costs just TEN CENTS PER YARD ($0.10).  Yes, please!

Towards the bottom of my card, I added a length of White Crochet Lace, 1/4" Red Satin Ribbon, and a festive Reindeer on Emerald Green Grosgrain Ribbon.  I also added a tied bow again using the 1/4" Red Satin Ribbon.  Each piece of trim is held securely in place using a fabulous Adhesive called Scor-Tape.  I love using Scor-Tape because it, too, comes in various widths and holds things in place to stand the test of time.

Autumn Blog Hop at Really Reasonable Ribbon

I used black cardstock layered with some miscellaneous patterned papers that I secured in place using Scor-Tape.  I did just a bit of machine stitching on the papers.  Next, I ran lengths of Sharon White Crochet Lace and a piece of Black & White Bold Gingham Check Ribbon.  The pretty pumpkins are found in the Boho Pumpkins Stamp Set from Stamp Simply.  I colored them with Copics.

The sentiment I used (Autumn Autumn Autumn) is from the Autumn Sentiments 2 Stamp Set at Bonnie Garby Designs.  I added lack tulle bow tied with Solid Green and Solid Pumpkin Baker's Twines and topped it with a White Flatback Faux Pearl Embellishment.  There are always oodles of great trims, Mulberry Flowers, Adhesives and so much more waiting for you at Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Let's Bake Stuff w/Really Reasonable Ribbon

As Christmas begins its approach, you can always count on Really Reasonable Ribbon to have all the perfect trims for you Holiday crafts, cards, wrapping and projects of every kind.  I know that I can always find the perfect trims in the perfect width, color and style when shopping at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The card I'm sharing today pairs some of the fabulous trims for RRR with a darling sentiment from Bonnie Garby Designs.

I used black cardstock, a Prima patterned paper and dies that I bought from a die set is called Candy Cane Lane (sold out) from Hello Bluebird Stamps. I have lots of layers going on here indeed.  All the candy canes, foliage and berries are from this darling Candy Cane Lane die set.  The adorable sentiment is from Bonnie Garby Designs and can be found in the Christmas Holiday Baking 2 Stamp Set.

The lovely trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon that I used on this card include the White Crochet Lace, Apple Baker's Twine, Dusty Rose Wrinkle Ribbon, and it's all securely held in place using various widths of the FABULOUS Adhesive called Scor-Tape.  I also used some White 3-D Foam Tabs to attach the sentiment piece.

Happy Birthday My Friend w/RRR

I've been on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Design Team for quite some time now; and I can honestly say that Really Reasonable Ribbon has NEVER disappointed me.  They always have the perfect color, design, width, and style of ribbons, twines, laces and trims for every project.  Not to mention all the other amazing products they carry.  I'm blessed to be on this DT, and I'm SO in love with ALL the products at Really Reasonable Ribbon, their prices, selection, and customer service.  It's all top-notch.

This card started with a black cardstock base, some Carta Bella patterned paper, and a piece of white watercolor paper that I rubbed with Tim Holtz Oxide Inks to create my background.  I also used a stencil from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.  The image and sentiments were stamped using stamps from Stamp Simply.  I also used a piece of the Carta Bella patterned paper to cut a pretty scalloped border.  I ran a piece of pretty White Crochet Lace topped with a piece of Moss Green & Cream Gingham Ribbon up the left-hand side of my card near the die-cut border.  I also tied a bow using the Moss Green & Cream Gingham Ribbon.  That bow is held in place with a metal safety pin; and you can find lots of great Embellishments at RRR as well.

The other product I used on this card, and one that I used on almost everything, is the wonderful Adhesive called Scor-Tape.  This stuff is AWESOME, and it always holds things securely in place to stand the test of time, mailing, and....grandchildren.  It's a really great Adhesive for sure.  Really Reasonable Ribbon really does carry many fabulous products - ribbons and so much more.  We hope you'll stop by RRR to look around.  And don't forget to join us on the 13th for our Blog Hop.
